Share ownership of Magyar Telekom’s new Board members

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: NYSE: MTA.N, BÉT: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: NYSE: MTA US, BÉT: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that none of the new Board of Directors or Supervisory Board members (Guido Kerkhoff, Dr. Steffen Roehn, Wolfgang Hetlinger, Mechthilde Maier, Éva Őz, Martin Meffert), elected by its Annual General Meeting held on April 2, 2009, hold any Magyar Telekom shares.
