Budapest – May 9, 2019 – Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB, hereinafter the “Company”), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that the actual gross amount of dividend per ordinary Magyar Telekom share (ISIN number: HU0000073507) from the profit of the business year 2018 is HUF 25.21.

The Company’s Annual General Meeting held on April 9, 2019 decided with its Resolution No. 7/2019 (IV.9.) on the dividend payment of HUF 25 per ordinary share (with a face value of HUF 100). Based on the resolution the Company distributes the dividends for its own shares among the shareholders who are entitled for dividends.

The Company owns 8,836,348 “A” series ordinary shares. Accordingly, the actual amount of gross dividend per share shall be HUF 25.21. The gross dividend to be paid to each shareholder is calculated as the multiple of the shares owned by the shareholder and the provided dividend amount, rounded to whole HUF number. The Company will pay dividends as stated in its announcement of April 17, 2019, starting from May 24, 2019.
