Kenichiro Kobayashi with Matáv Symphony Orchestra

Kenichiro Kobayashi, the world famous Japanese conductor will act as permanent guest conductor of the Matáv Symphony Orchestra from April 14, 2005. The honorary diploma on this invitation was handed over on Thursday in MTA's ceremonial hall at the rehearsal where the conductor expressed his thanks for the invitation and his respect for the orchestra.

The first concert to be given jointly by the Japanese conductor and Matáv Symphony Orchestra is expected for the autumn of 2006, after which the director will spend two periods in Hungary each season and conduct two concerts each time.
