T-Mobile again invites mobile Internet competition for students of three Hungarian universities

In the 2008/2009 academic year T-Mobile is inviting applications for creative mobile Internet solutions and ideas from the students of three universities on the theme of “Creative Community Solutions on Mobile Broadband”. The winners will be rewarded with notebooks, mobile phones and free mobile Internet subscription.

The invitation for applications from the students of the Budapest Corvinus University, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the Hungarian University of Applied Arts is available on the www.t-mobile.hu site from October 3. After a successful round last year, T-Mobile is once again giving the education institutions and their students the opportunity to promote with creative ideas the growth of the mobile Internet in Hungary, and its practical use giving added value to many users. This time too applications are invited from individual students or groups which present practical ideas fit for real-life implementation on the creative use of the mobile phone for community building. Solutions serving the educational purposes of the mobile Internet will be specially rewarded. The ideas presented in the applications may be websites, public place installations, computer or mobile phone applications, other solutions or combinations of these. Registrations will be accepted by October 20, and the deadline for the submission of the applications is December 15. The winners are expected to be announced in February, 2009.
