  • Interested visitors have been able to come across Telekom’s renewed website ( www.telekom.hu ) since May 20.

Telekom’s portal currently contains about 5000 sites and the monthly average number of visits is 3.5 million. The design of its new structure was preceded by a detailed research and testing process in the course of which around 4 million visits to the portal, 50 thousand searches and 30 thousand customer feedbacks were analysed in Telekom’s website. The research intended to find an answer to how customers were using Telekom’s website, for example, the kind of path they had been following in obtaining information or how they would prefer to administer their business on the online interface. In addition the company’s experts also studied international industry examples. They tested the menu concepts designed on the basis of feedback with 1000 customers for 500 hours before giving the website its final structure.

Zoltán Pereszlényi, Magyar Telekom’s Customer and Channel Relations Management Director said in regards the changes: „The proliferation of the increasingly innovative technologies is changing our customer’s needs and habits related to obtaining information and administration. We have set e-transformation to be our strategic goal to ensure, through new systems and new processes, our ability to serve our customers at a high level, quickly and efficiently even along their new requirements. I think that we have once again accomplished a great move ahead in this direction through the renewal of our website, the Telekom account and Telekom application” .

Visitors can meet the following innovations on the renewed website:

  • Drastically streamlined menu structure and easier navigation: the number of main menu items and subsequent menu items has been considerably reduced. After the renewal residential customers find everything at a single place, whether it is some mobile or home offer or device. Small and medium businesses find the information for them at the Üzleti (Business) menu item. Those interested in the company, visit the Rólunk ( About us) menu item for information.
  • The most looked for functions in one place: The functions customers use the most frequently (e.g. payment of bills, Webmail, Domino top up) appear in the form of icons at one place, on the opening site of the Residential, Business and About Us menu items.
  • Log-in at one place: Customers will be able to log in from now on at one place, on the Belépés (Entry) site to the self-service customer service.
