Introduced in August 2015, the integrated Magenta 1 discount plan offer of Telekom was welcomed by the market beyond expectations: the number of subscribers has exceeded 100 thousand.

“With the Magenta 1 we provide the real benefits of state-of-the-art networks and integrated services to our customers. It is important that we contact this circle of customers with special, favourable offers from time to time. We removed the mobile Internet data limits for the summer months in every Magenta 1 discount plan, and from September all customers whose families have Magenta 1 subscription have been enabled to use the mobile Internet on the network of Telekom with the maximum upload and download speeds available in the given location, regardless of where they are in the territory of the country” – said András Gyenes, Chief Commercial Officer Residential at Magyar Telekom.

The Magenta1 plan includes everything persons sharing a household may need: mobile phone, TV, home Internet and fixed-line telephone service.  According to the focal group survey of Telekom taken among Magenta 1 customers, the customers especially appreciate the fact that they receive all fixed-line and mobile services comfortably, from one source, at a discounted price when more services are considered. One of the favourite elements of this discount plan - especially with male customers - is the TVGO service, which is used by one-third of the respondents even on a daily basis, and this option has completely transformed their television watching habits. Customers mention as a further important benefit the freedom ensured by the fixed line phone service included in the discount plan.

Magyar Telekom launched its business offer in June this year with the name of Magenta 1 Business, in which the mobile and fixed-line services of the operator and its IT solutions are all available together with more favourable conditions, in one plan.
