Telekom introduces extra mobilenet to make the world of digital opportunities attractive to its top-up customers

Budapest, November 15, 2018 16:00

On 15 November Telekom provides one-off 4GB data to all its residential customers. The data may be used within 6 months. The plan is in line with Telekom’s brand commitment made earlier this year, i.e. all its customers will be connected to the digital world of today, and it will play an active role in the digitization of Hungary.

The company believes that this action will make the world of internet attractive to all those customers who have so far only been thinking about adding internet to their own subscription, whilst this offer will broaden the scope of opportunities to those clients who use internet already. The promotion is available to approx. 1.7 million customers.

The one-off 4GB promotion will become automatically available to top-up customers on 15 November. The company will send an activation text message to the affected customers.

Telekom announced its new, ambitious brand commitment in February 2018. With the help of the digital set of tools, the company wants to inspire everybody to use the company’s world-class mobile network and innovative technology as well as the supreme quality fixed network well and for a good cause, i.e. for their own and their environment’s progress.

A great part of our society consider the digital devices and interfaces as natural parts of the world. These people use technology smartly, manage their mobile phones or laptops matter of factly when something needs to be handled or sorted out fast and simple. They live a life where digitization serves their development. Telekom calls them “Generation Now”. Generation Now is an attitude, therefore everybody who is open to life and innovation and brave enough to discover unchartered territories belongs there. Telekom invites everybody to become an active member of Generation Now.

„We are committed to achieve a paradigm shift in the Hungarian society as digitisation requires a new approach and new skills from all of us. Digitisation will serve the development of the individual only if it goes hand in hand with a kind of openness and a brave, “let’s do it” attitude. It’s time we do away with negative and retractive thoughts. With the right attitude, calling in the tools of the digital world to help, we can achieve or change anything.” – said Szabó Béla Attila Brand and Residential Communication Director about Telekom’s new brand campaign launched in November.
