Telekom Internet Exchange (MT-IX) is a physical infrastructure with the aim to facilitate the exchange of Internet traffic among the members of the MT-IX in different Autonomous Systems. This infrastructure located in Budapest enabling Network Operators, content providers to interconnect their Networks.
This enables each members connected with 1GE, 10GE or aggregated ports to exchange IP traffic by using public route-server (RS). The routing exchanged information is carried over by BGP protocol.

Telekom Internet Exchange (MT-IX) Exchange (MT-IX) serves ISP-s, hosting and content providers in Hungary who has own AS number assigned.
MT-IX was established with the aim to provide a wide range of cost effective services.
Members
Members of MT-IX are typically Internet service providers, hosting and content providers. MT-IX welcomes everyone who has own Autonomous System (AS), own address space and the associated objects in the RIPE database (aut-num, inetnum, inet6num, route, route6).
