Shareholders Assembly approved Crnogorski Telekom dividend

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB, hereinafter the “Company”), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that its subsidiary, Crnogorski Telekom A.D. Podgorica, held its Shareholders Assembly on May 31, 2016 and made a decision on a total dividend payment of EUR 19.2 million (around HUF 6.0 billion at the May 31, 2016 HUF/EUR exchange rate of 313.61) for the financial year 2015.

According to Montenegrin Accounting Standards, Crnogorski Telekom recorded a net income of EUR 15.9 million for 2015. In line with the decision of the Shareholders Assembly, the total amount of the net income and in addition EUR 3.4 million of retained earnings shall be distributed as dividends. Magyar Telekom, which has a 76.53% stake in the company, is entitled to a dividend payment of approximately EUR 14.7 million (HUF 4.6 billion).
