Shareholder's Assembly of MakTel approves dividend

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, hereby announces that its subsidiary, Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje (MakTel), has decided at its Shareholders’ Assembly today on a total dividend payment of MKD 1.25 billion (HUF 6.37 billion at the April 21, 2017 HUF/MKD exchange rate of 5.09) for the financial year 2016.

 

According to Macedonian Accounting Standards (MAS), on a standalone basis, MakTel recorded a net income of MKD 1.25 billion for 2016, all of which will be distributed as dividend in line with the decision of the Shareholders’ Assembly.

Stonebridge Communications AD Skopje, which is 100% owned by the Company, is entitled to a dividend of MKD 0.71 billion (approximately HUF 3.61 billion).
