Magyar Telekom was registered for the auction of spectrum licences related to 5G and mobile broadband services

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that it was registered as a participant by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority in the auction procedure for spectrum licences related to 5G and mobile broadband services.

On July 18, 2019 the Office of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority announced an auction for the utilisation of the 700 MHz frequency bands and for the available blocks within the 2100 MHz, 2600 MHz and 3600 MHz frequency bands.
