Matáv's Macedonian subsidiary MakTel is one of the most successful investments in Southeast Europe, a fact that has recently been recognized by the award called Round Table of Investors, a regional network. The aim of the newly founded award is to call the attention of investors to investment opportunities in Southeast Europe by recognizing already going and successful business ventures. The award criteria included the role the companies play in the business and social life of the given country and region. It was also an important criterion that the winner should play a pioneering role in its own industry.
