At the Warsaw conference of the Investor Relations Magazine, held on September 17, 2003, prestigious international prizes were awarded for investor relations. The votes of the independent jury, consisting of analysts representing both offer and demand, as well as portfolio managers, decided which Central and East European companies performed best last year in the region. Matáv proved to be the best in categories such as best website fostering investor relations; best yearly report and corporate publication; and Hungarian company managing the best investor relations.

Out of the 14 prizes announced, Hungarian companies could compete for nine, winning in five categories. Matáv won the Regional Grand Prix for excellent investor relations. It is an indication of the leading position in the region of the companies listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange that in this category, only Hungarian companies were nominated by the jury. At the Warsaw awards ceremony, Matáv proved to be the best in categories such as best website fostering
investor relations; best yearly report and corporate publication; and company managing the best investor relations.
