On March 30, at Ipolytarnóc the representatives of the Association of Municipalities in the Valley of Dobroda and Ménes ("Dobroda és Ménes Völgyi Önkormányzatok Egyesülete", including 14 towns in Northern Hungary) and MatávCom signed a contract with a value of HUF 330 million, which will provide an opportunity for the region to come abreast with the rest of country in the area of IT and make further developments.

The project named "e-Település" (e-Town) comprises a service package enabling local authorities as well as various related institutions and facilities to operate in a unified telecommunications, IT and security technology system. The small region participating in the program obtains an infocommunication infrastructure facilitating direct communication among local institutions and towns through a network established by MatávCom.
