Those people who after May 1 want to choose Westel as
their operator while keeping their telephone number may, from April 1, register
the request for carrying their number via the Internet. It confirms Westel’s
high expectations of number portability that the 06-30 subscriber base saw
larger growth than that of the two competitors together over the past half year.

The Number Carry portal that can be reached from the
Westel home page offers a registration form and all relevant information needed
to understand the process. Several unique offers make the number carrying
operation more comfortable, such as the free delivery for the applicant of the
new Westel SIM card and/or telephone set ordered. Besides, in possession of the
log-in ID and password sent to them, the customers keeping their phone number
and choosing Westel as their new operator can also enter the closed Webshop
