In November and December the Children's Clinic of the Pécs
University can be supported by calling 1788, to make a contribution to the
purchase of the necessary X-ray equipment. This equipment allows the X-ray
examination of small patients lying on a stretcher without moving and
transporting them. The equipment is equally suitable for radiological
examination of infants, X-ray examination of older children at the intensive
care unit, or radiological diagnosis of trauma patients and other examinations
of X-ray diagnostics.
The Aranyág Foundation was established in 1995 for
the purpose of collecting donations, and providing support to Hungarian health
institutions for children. The fund has been operating as a non-profit
organization since 1999 with the goal of improving the physical condition of ill
and physically disabled children, promoting their recovery, and modernizing and
extending the equipment of their nursing facilities.
