FC Sopron thanks for the sponsorship of Magyar Telekom

Matáv FC's sponsoring by Matáv Rt. is a success story in Hungarian football sponsorship since at the start of contribution the telecommunications company selected the harder and more expensive way with a country club that about ten years ago was still playing in a regional league.
The owners of the Sopron football club wish to thank in this press
release Matáv Rt.’s generosity as main sponsor for more than ten years
without which the club could not have reached the first league and the
position of representing Hungary in the UEFA cup as the winner of the
Hungarian Cup in 2005.
The club informs its constantly rising number of fans and the public
that until a new title sponsor enters the scene they will play in the
championship and the UEFA Cup under the name FC Sopron and the name of
the business association operating the club will change from July 1,
2005 to FC Sopron Futball Sportszolgáltató Kft.
