Montenegro becomes part of the T-family

Budapest, September 27, 2006

On September 26, 2006 at a press conference in Podgorica, Telekom Montenegro (TCG) and its subsidiaries Monet and Internet Crna Gora presented the new corporate identity based on which they become part of the global T-family of Deutsche Telekom.

TCG – whose majority owner (76.53%) is Magyar Telekom – became Crnogorski Telekom and together with Internet Crna Gora will offer the fixed line telephony and internet users the most advanced services under the common brand of T-Com.

Monet has changed its name to T-Mobile Crna Gora and it will provide mobile telephony services under the T-Mobile brand from now on.

The Deutsche Telekom Group, one of the leading telecommunication companies in the world, has recognized the potential of the market in Montenegro. Longtime experience in providing telecommunications services of highest quality will be transferred to Crnogorski Telekom and T-Mobile Crna Gora, which are becoming part of the global
T- family.

The new developments include a change of the corporate identity, as well as the creation of two divisions of the group, T-Com and T-Mobile. With the possibility of using the benefits of global brands, strong growth as well as business improvements and higher competitiveness can be expected. The advanced technology which is fulfilling the needs of Deutsche Telekom Group customers worldwide, will be available to Montenegrin citizens as well.

The arrival of the “T” brand to the Montenegrin market represents the confirmation of the successful work that the three companies have done so far, with constant improvements, investments in technological development and customer care, as well as the readiness for the integration in modern international business processes. At the same time, that means the entry of the highest quality and the most advanced world standards to our market. The international experience of T-Com and T-Mobile will be put to best use at the service of Montenegrin citizens and businesses.
