Magyar Telekom also supports Santa’s Factory

Santa’s Factory, the biggest donation collection drive in Hungary which also has the support of Magyar Telekom this year, is open between December 7 and 16.

Santa’s Factory is a gigantic Christmas gift distribution center which accepts donations from the public while giving them entertaining programs, and immediately forwards them to those in need with the help of the Hungarian Red Cross and UNICEF. Besides the usual location at Heroes’ Square, Santa’s Factory welcomes enthusiastic donors in 16 Budapest and country locations: Csepel Plaza, Duna Plaza, Debrecen, Győr, Kaposvár, Miskolc, Nagykanizsa, Nyíregyháza, Pécs, Sopron, Szolnok, Szombathely, Szeged, Székesfehérvár, Veszprém and Zalaegerszeg. The organizers request the donors to bring primarily food, toys, detergents, books and similar gifts.

Magyar Telekom, which won the Business Donor of the Year award in 2007 in recognition of its outstanding social contribution and sponsorship activities, as well as the Business Ethics Award, is promoting the success of Santa’s Factory as chief sponsor for the first time this year. Hungary’s leading infocommunication service provider has organized donation collection drives among its employees and is also contributing voluntary work to the Santa’s Factory initiative. It also encourages   its customers to donate Christmas gifts to the needy.
