“Az Ügy” (The Cause), Magyar Telekom’s charity program continues on TV2 with new heroes of everyday life and new goals. The films will present real-life stories with players who work for the solution of social problems: for the disadvantaged, our fellow citizens in crisis, for the development of communities in need, or for finding solutions to civilizational malfunctions of our society.

The fourth series to start on November 27 and to be on air on four Tuesdays seeks answers to the following questions:

  • what future do autistic persons face without a special home?
  • how can children with communication disabilities cope with ordinary school tasks?
  • do we give disadvantaged Roma children a chance to learn and advance?
  • can migrants and immigrants find a home in our country?

Viewers can help reach the goals shown by casting votes by phone. The principal figure of the film with the most votes will receive a donation of HUF 5 million and the others will receive HUF 1 million each.

The price of vote calls is HUF 200 in the network of Magyar Telekom (T-Com, T-Mobile) (this amount is payable without VAT for subscribers other than users of the “Domino” package), and the whole sum will be forwarded by the telco to the organization for which the viewers cast their votes. Thus, in addition to Magyar Telekom’s donation, these amounts – as donations of the viewers – will also contribute to the goals shown in the films. TV2 is the sole partner of this charity documentary-reality show, the films are made by Andrea Kandász and the production staff of Kandi Produkció.
