The result of the “HR Team of the
Year” competition organized by IVM Bridge, a consulting company, was
announced at the first HR Ball held in Hungary in late February. Magyar
Telekom was awarded the prize in recognition of its outstanding
innovation activities in the e-HR field.

HR
activities are supported by the SAP-HR system at Magyar Telekom
similarly to the practice at the parent company Deutsche Telekom and
several of its affiliated companies. Magyar Telekom employees can enjoy
the benefits of electronic HR as they receive customized HR information
over a web-based user interface called Reflex. Reflex is equipped with
a uniquely broad range of functions and tools in Hungary, as well as
with some interactive components.
“This prize is an important
feedback for us,” says Ms. Éva Somorjai, Chief Human Resources Officer
of Magyar Telekom. “As a company with several thousand employees, we
are continuously searching for possibilities to offer our staff
customized HR information despite the large size of the Group, and to
offer it by deploying info-communication tools, in a user-friendly
form.”
