In May and June 2008, people calling
the Telekom Donation Line by dialing 1788 will support Kerek Világ
Jóléti Szolgálat Alapítvány (“Round World Welfare Service Foundation”).
The Foundation will use the amounts generated by the calls to provide
and roll-out developmental school education for children of statutory
school age and having multiple, serious disabilities.

Világ Jóléti Szolgálat Alapítvány was established in 1990 to facilitate
the encounter between society and people living in a disadvantaged
situation. In addition to their other integration-promoting activities,
they maintain an orthopedagogical training and educational institution
at Pécs promoting the skills/ability development, habilitation,
rehabilitation, training and education of physically handicapped (but
mentally able) children or children living with multiple disabilities
and hindered in learning/mental activities.
The Telekom
Donation Line (1788) can be accessed from Magyar Telekom’s wireline and
mobile network; each call or SMS costs HUF 100. These amounts are free
of VAT (except for calls initiated with a Domino subscription). The
total amount generated by calls in these two months will be donated to
Kerek Világ Jóléti Szolgálat Alapítvány.
