On May 17 the T-Home brand arrived in Macedonia. Makedonski Telekom made the rebranding memorable for the people of the capital and the country by holding the T-Day.

As it was announced earlier, on May 1, 2008 Magyar Telekom Group member MakTel was rebranded to Makedonski Telekom and at the same time Macedonia’s leading telecommunications service provider fully introduced the T-brand. On May 17 Makedonski Telekom held a one-day event at various points of Skopje on the occasion of introduction of the T-Home brand.. The artists and groups appearing in the programs offered spectacular entertainment for all ages and the whole family from children to adults. The day ended with a free megaconcert presented by T-Home in the central square of Skopje where the number one pop star of the Balkans Zdravko Colic was followed by the most popular British girl band Sugababes as the highlight of the T-Day.

With the May 17 events T-Home officially became the brand of Makedonski Telekom’s fixed telecommunications services in Macedonia, while since 2006 mobile services have been provided by T-Mobile Macedonia.
