The "Playground program" was launched by MATÁV in 1999. The company has built playgrounds in eight towns of the country. The first playground was opened on May 15, 1999 in Budapest followed by others in Kaposvár, Pécs, Székesfehérvár, Sopron, Debrecen, Kecskemét, Miskolc and finally another playground was built in Budapest. The playgrounds have especially designed wooden toys and furniture.

Due to the great success, the program will continue in 2000, too. In the course of the year new MATÁV playgrounds will be built in eight towns of Hungary (Győr, Szeged, Eger, Siófok, Szolnok, Nyíregyháza, Zalaegerszeg, Debrecen).

Our objective is to help local communities create a more pleasant environment and to provide a better quality of life.
