As a continuation of traditions, Matáv will be the major sponsor of Bartók Radio in 2003 too. The company has been sponsoring the cultural channel of Hungarian Radio for seven years. The sponsorship covers, among others, financial support to the creation and operation of the following programs: Night jazz club, Classical music and jazz, Transmissions from Hungarian State Opera House, Music in the morning, Music in the afternoon, Globetrotter artists in the Marble Hall, Bartók Radio Club.

"Bartók Radio, as an outstanding promoter of culture, fits in well with Matáv's world aiming at value creation. It carries out a mission of paramount importance in our world polluted with programs that corrupt the public's aesthetic taste,"said Bálint Nagy, Communication Director of the Matáv Group when the contract was signed.

In 2003 Matáv will sponsor Bartók Radio with more than HUF 16 million.
