From February 19, 2002, MatávkábelTV Kft. providing cable television services as a company within Matáv Group will be headed by Chief Executive Officer Attila Szendrei. Prior to the appointment of the new CEO, the company was directed by Klára Armuth, Matáv’s Business Portfolio Management Director.

After his studies at the Miskolc University of Heavy Industry, the Technical University of Budapest and the Central European University in Prague, Attila Szendrei (49) worked as Director at Videoton Alkatrész Rt. and Videoton Holding Rt. prior to becoming Operating Director of Zwack Unicum Rt. and, at the same time, Managing Director of Budapesti Likőripari Vállalat.

The company’s management has been reinforced by appointing RTL Klub’s former CEO András Piller to the position of MatávkábelTV Kft.’s General Deputy CEO.
