On the occasion of Hungary's accession to the EU Matáv offers from 00.00 on May 1, 2004 to 24.00 on May 7, 2004 to all residential and business customers 50 percent discount on the tariffs of international fixed-line calls to all European Union member states. Each customers will receive discount on the international minute tariffs of the tariff package that he uses, so for example calls to Germany and Austria can cost as little as HUF 22.50.
