Magyar Telekom Group to select Group-level online creative and media agencies

Budapest, September 18, 2007 10:30

Magyar Telekom Group is announcing a tender for the selection of its Group-level online creative and media agencies. In 2008, the company group will handle T-Com, T-Online, T-Mobile, T-Systems and T-Kábel online advertisement activities through the agencies selected in the tender.

Magyar Telekom Group is announcing a multi-phase open tender procedure aimed at the selection of agencies that can efficiently support the marketing communication of the Group’s member companies in online creative, online media and online communications strategy areas. A project comprising experts of the company group has been established to select agencies having appropriate references, professional competencies and infrastructure.

Any agency may submit its application in the first phase of the open, pre-qualification tender. The agencies selected in the pre-qualification phase receive the tender documentation and will be requested to elaborate their bids for the two categories. In the course of the tender, applicants will receive tasks related to strategic creative and strategic media planning topics. It is expected that the winners of the tender in both categories will be announced at the end of November. Magyar Telekom Group will handle 2008 online marketing communications tasks of the “T”-brands (T-Com, T-Online, T-Mobile, T-Systems and T-Kábel) through the winning agencies. In 2006, Magyar Telekom Group’s online   media expenditures totaled close to HUF 760 million calculated at list prices. Companies interested in the tender announced for pre-qualification can download the request for proposals from the webpage of Magyar Telekom’s Procurement Directorate.
