On December 3, 2008 Magyar Telekom opened a server room in Győr. Following two in Budapest and one in Szeged, this is the fourth server room of the company which offers server hosting and virtualization services to the customers. The modern data park on 350 square meters can accommodate and operate close to 1500 servers in secure conditions.
Magyar Telekom, in line with the trend of convergence of telecommunications and information technology, seeks to develop the most efficient service and solution combinations possible by using the best of its professional knowledge and competence. A case in point is the recent expansion of the server rooms in Northern Transdanubia which enables the company to serve the enterprises and institutions of the region at a higher level.

The T-Systems Datapark service provides high-speed, 1Gbps bandwidth Hungarian and foreign Internet backbone network accesss (availability rate: 99.85%) which is indispensable to running the latest Internet applications. The new server room provides uninterrupted power supply, an environment of 22°C (+/-2°C) temperature and 50%(+/-5%) relative humidity, fire safety and physical security systems. There is 24-hour operator and security monitoring of the servers. The data park services provided by T-Systems embrace the whole range of activities, from the provision of space or the installation of the servers in the area, through the provision of replacement servers to server or storage space rental and various value-added services.
