Telekom Offers Cloud-Based Billing System to Small and Medium Enterprises

Budapest, June 4, 2012 09:00

Magyar Telekom is offering for the first time among telecommunication firms a fully comprehensive online billing solution called ÉnSzámlázóm to micro, small and medium enterprises. The cloud-based service will be available from early June for a monthly charge like other telecommunication and IT services. The innovative new service brought about in cooperation by Magyar Telekom, Brainwave Ltd and KPMG will be an indispensable service for business customers in their day-to-day operations.

ÉnSzámlázóm is cloud-based, online software providing a full solution for micro, small and medium businesses, from the handling of customer and partner data through product data, to bill generation and the building of a statistical module. Besides facilitating the traditional paper-based billing, the software handles electronic billing, all with a free-of-charge e-bill receiving interface to every partner. The implementation of the billing system does not require an investment, as it will be available for a monthly charge, it does not have any operating cost either, and there is no need to upgrade it; the program automatically tracks changes and so it will always comply with legal requirements, making continuous updating unnecessary. Even micro businesses with only one or two employees will find it worth subscribing, as it gives them access for a minimum cost to a complex and professional billing system so far available only for large company customers. The ÉnSzámlázóm program, similarly to the mail boxes of the Internet, operates in the browser of the computer, so it does not need to be installed and can be used from anywhere similarly to web mail boxes. Thanks to its cloud-based access it ensures the user a high degree of mobility and can be used from any computer, smart phone or tablet.

ÉnSzámlázóm has become a service recommended by Magyar Telekom after it was developed by Brainwave Ltd. and KPMG. The software developer is Brainwave Ltd. They implemented in 2006 the Számlázz Könnyen (Billing Easy) service, and mainly large companies became its customers. The joint aim with the ÉnSzámlázóm created together with Telekom is now to expand the user pool and to offer an indispensable service to SMEs, ranging from one or two-person small businesses.

“If billing fails to run smoothly, revenue will be delayed, investments may slow down and the firm’s manager constantly has to keep his hands on the brakes. A good billing system, on the other hand, can make a business more dynamic and even spare the manager countless minor annoyances and worries. This is where we try to help as a business partner of SMEs as for a long time now we have been offering not only IT and telecommunication services, but we also try to be present in the life of businesses with all services that can make their business run more smoothly and further reduce their costs, whether utility charges, energy or electricity service or, in this particular case, billing, which is considered to be the vulnerable point of businesses,” said Krisztán Horovitz, head of Magyar Telekom’s business services unit.

ÉnSzámlázóm is available in three package arrangements. The monthly fee for the ÉnSzámlázóm Start package is net HUF 900. More information about the service and the free test version are available at www.enszamlazom.hu.
