Budapest, August 15, 2013 14:30

Magyar Telekom has created its special service package offered for businesses operating the new type of cash registers that ensures data communication between cash registers and the system of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) and includes customer service support too. On the basis of agreement signed with cash register distributor Alt Cash Kft, Telekom offers a competitive solution for businesses involved in cash register replacement with its service package and its partner’s cash register model.

Magyar Telekom would like to help the companies concerned to smoothly implement the replacement of cash registers as soon as possible by meeeting customer demand to the fullest possible extent. Calculating on the basis of expected data traffic, Telekom offers for its small and medium-sized business customers operating cash registers a service package facilitating data communication between NAV's system and the cash register prescribed by law, for a monthly charge of net HUF 2,300. The service package is available to all customers who use cash registers. Telekom also plans among others to implement discount solutions for its small and medium-sized business customers.

Cooperation with Hungarian companies is important for Telekom in the case of this nationwide project as well. A good indicator of this fact is that the cash registers offered together with Telekom's service package and distributed by Alt Cash will have the Tax Administration Control Unit (AEE) developed by the Hungarian company Intelliport Solutions and manufactured by Videoton, also a Hungarian company, integrated in them. Alt Cash has 20 years of experience in cash register distribution of and is the exclusive distributor in Hungary of the Sam4s brand, which is the official legal successor of Samsung cash registers. On August 6, 2013 the firm was granted authorisation to distribute the Sam4s NR-270 cash register model which is offered at a net price of HUF 138,000.

The cash register models possessing type authorisation will establish the legally compliant data communication through the SIM chips provided by Telekom, together with Telekom's service package, which are able to connect to the network of every Hungarian mobile carrier operating an independent network and maintain a data transfer connection with NAV's system. Telekom's service package contributes in this way to the ability to comply with the requirements determined by NAV and the relevant legislation as well as to successful operation of data communication between NAV's server and the cash registers.

For enterprise customers Magyar Telekom's subsidiary, T-Systems Hungary offers a unique, tailor made solution, compatible with their systems, necessary for the uninterrupted connection between cash registers and NAV and enabling the data transfer from cash registers.
