Iván Rózsa to become Magyar Telekom’s communications director

Iván Rózsa has been appointed Magyar Telekom’s Corporate Communications Director as of March 18, 2013. The expert as the head of the Corporate Communications Directorate will manage the company’s external and internal communications as well as its branding, sponsoring and event management activities.

Iván Rózsa graduated in economics at the International Business School in English language training, then he obtained an MBA degree at the Central European University. The expert acquired marketing and corporate communications experience and held leading positions in the retail sector and the oil, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. He joined Sanofi in 2007 where from 2010 he was the communications director of the Hungarian subsidiary and member of the company’s management. In 2011 he was appointed communications director of the Danube Region consisting of four countries and became a member of the region’s management. Under his leadership Sanofi became Hungary’s first pharmaceutical company that possesses a high-level audited sustainability report.

The new communications director to join the company in mid-March will have a chance to successfully manage Magyar Telekom’s communications activities also thanks to his communications experience gained in the pharmaceutical industry regulated similarly strongly as the telecommunications market.
