Telekom offers from today a new Family+HD tariff package connected to its TV services offered on different platforms, where the HD channels will be available as part of the basic package. Telecom’s brand new offer for Interactive TV and Sat TV subscribers includes quality and highly rated HD channels with diverse topics charging no special monthly fee. In case  of its Digital Cable TV service HD channels are also available in the basic package, but on different conditions.

Telekom's aim is to extend quality televising for a broad pool of TV subscribers taking into consideration the technical possibilities of the households concerned. With this in view the corporation has compiled a colorful TV package with diverse topics, in which everybody can find the most interesting channel for them in HD quality--let it be public service, sports, film, mode of life or educational broadcasts.  HD channels can be reached with a screen definition that depends on network capabilities and technological possibilities and Telekom strives to deliver the HD experience to the highest number of homes and to almost every of its digital TV subscribers, and to ensure HD quality through all technologies. With this in mind the company has expanded, in the course of developments, the number of the areas enabled to received HD quality transmissions, for which reason, among others, the high quality TV service has also become available in ADSL and VDSL areas.

In addition to the HD package available as a part of the basic package, Telekom's offer also contains TV sets enabled to receive HD transmissions available under favourable terms to deliver a really total experience of watching TV.
