Magyar Telekom is looking for the best ideas

Magyar Telekom, in collaboration with Deutsche Telekom, is looking for the brightest Hungarian ideas for the international Telekom Innovation Contest, announced February 22. Applicants can submit ideas in five categories: Connected Home, Communication Services, Energy, Virtual Platform, Cloud Computing. Experts of Deutsche Telekom Group are providing resources valued at EUR   500,000 to develop the idea into a product or prototype (this includes hardware and software, access to Telekom's extensive infrastructure and global sales and marketing channels).

This contest is a unique opportunity, because we aren't just choosing an idea, we're making an investment in the implementation and supporting the winners with significant resources in every stage through to a marketable product.”– said Róbert Pataki, Chief Innovation Officer of Magyar Telekom.

After the preselection , the chosen Hungarian ideas compete at Kitchen Budapest, innovation and startup incubation lab of Magyar Telekom. The best applicants can participiate in the international pitch  in Berlin, where the international jury will select the winner idea to be realized by Deutsche Telekom Group. Magyar Telekom encourages individuals, students, teams, new startups and employees to apply.

Applicants can submit their ideas online at www.telekom-innovation-contest.com, applications accepted until March 31, 2013.
