From October 15 Microsoft Office 365 is offered by Telekom, the first company to bundle cloud based services and Windows 8 terminal propositions. Office 365 – providing modern, reliable IT background – is no longer the privilege of large companies, but it is now realistically available to small and medium size companies in a monthly payment scheme, with the IT support of Telekom.

Telekom and Microsoft intend to be committed supporters and partners of Hungarian SMEs. On the token if this the two companies jointly make Office 365 – the cloud service operated by Microsoft -  available to micro, small and medium size companies, offered by Telekom from mid-October for a monthly fee. The solution is focused on the Office client – well known to customers – which resulting from the cloud solution is always available in the most up-to-date version, enabling users to access corporate documents anywhere, assuming that internet is available. However, Office 365 offers much more: its large company category services are available to any organisation independent of the size, including HD video conference, document sharing and business correspondence.

Tens of thousands of business users already benefit from the service in Hungary, ranging from the smallest micro enterprises to the largest banks, service providers and manufacturers. In spring 2013 the survey of Microsoft revealed that 66% of Hungarian SMEs use some type of cloud service and half of them believe that these will play increasingly important roles in making their ventures successful.

The Bell Research survey revealed that in Hungary 90% of companies employing in access of 10 people use one of the Office versions. I trust that with Telekom’s assistance ever more will switch over to the most up-to-date version, featuring the latest technology.”

The Office 365 service offered by Telekom for a monthly fee provides an IT solution to enterprises both useful within and outside the office. Through the internet even the smallest enterprises can obtain reliable, safe and legally clean software without investment, in a favourable monthly fee scheme.
