From now on Telekom TV is available to anybody on the net!

The Telekom TV GO service – offering the experience of multi-screen TV – reached an important milestone. From today nobody will miss any live TV program, as using TVGO not only the subscribers of Telekom TV can enjoy the service, but anybody can follow favorite TV programs on mobile terminals through the net, by purchasing a TV package or MovieClub subscription on TVGO, with bank card payment. Naturally, Telekom TV subscribers can enjoy the service without paying any extra fee.

Consequent to the integrated service provider and network capabilities of Telekom, anyone and anywhere in the country can watch the 23 channels included in t he TV GO Basic package, or the 38 channels included in the Family package. In addition, today’s (September 4) Hungarian-Romanian national league football match is also available live, free of charge on smartphones, tablets or notebooks – without TV GO subscription, after a quick registration, using appropriately enabled terminals and internet connection.

Those wishing to watch selected feature films - in addition to live TV programs - can choose from among the newest films in the assortment of Videotéka (video rental service) – by borrowing them and paying the fee shown beside the film. For anyone wishing to watch even more films, the right choice is MoziKlub (Movie Club). The subscription based movie film rental service – launched firstly by Telekom in the Hungarian market – continuously increases its assortment, currently offering more than 1,400 feature films, Hollywood and children’s series. MovieClub subscribers – as part of the home Telekom TV – can play MovieClub content on TV GO, while others (any user registered on TV GO) can watch their favorite films by subscribing for the service, with bank payment.

As commonly known, in May 2014 Telekom was first to introduce the „multi screen” TV service within Hungary, and the Telekom TV subscribers were first to try the full fledged TV GO service.

The service is available with the TV GO application, downloadable on smartphones and tablets from the TV GO website, Google Play or AppStore. TV GO can only be used in Hungary, requiring a one-off registration and continuous broadband internet connection (fix line, mobile or even WI-FI). The service generates data usage. Upon registering for TV GO with the Telekom Magenta 1 TV package, the TV GO mobile data usage will not be invoiced.
