We strive to decrease the energy consumption of the Group, and buy 100% of the electric power we use from renewable sources.
The Group operates carbon-neutral since 2015 and 2016, which is largely due to the fact that we buy 100% of the electric power we use from renewable sources. Our foremost objective remains to further improve our energy efficiency and to significantly decrease the use of fossil energy, parallel to using an increasing ratio of renewable energy.
Magyar Telekom has consciously addressed the optimization of energy consumption for years, which effort was further strengthened by the fact that we introduced and obtained an ISO 50000 certification on our energy management system in 2016.
