ENVIRONMENT-FOCUSED MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Magyar Telekom takes into account the relevant aspects of sustainability and environment protection in the context of its own operations, too. In that, it relies upon management systems compliant with international standards, like ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 27000, ISO 22300 and ISO 50000.

Magyar Telekom has established its management systems in a way to comply with the international standards relevant to the Group’s operations: it runs an ISO 9001-certified quality assurance system, including an ISO 14001-certified environmental and an ISO 27001-certified information security management system.

The company has put in place a workplace health and safety system to address labor safety and prevention issues (MEBIR, the relevant standards are MSZ 28001:2008 BS OHSAS 18001:2007) and an ISO 22301 system.

The different management, governance systems are run along the following principles:

In its Group Environment Protection Policy, our company’s management commits to protect the environment and nature, as well as to improve the general state of the environment. Our company pursues all of its activities along the principles laid down by the Policy and expects all of its employees to do the same for the sake of sustainable growth.
