A special voice: Budapest Festival Orchestra, Midnight Music

Midnight
Music 2016
Budapest Festival Orchestra, conducted by Iván
Fischer, is one of the best known Hungarian orchestras and one of the most
successful ones in the world, too.
Budapest Festival Orchestra is a special team: its members add their personality to the music they play. Attention to details, energy, joy, passion: these are the values of the orchestra. Besides performances abroad (in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Musikverein, Concertgebouw, Royal Albert Hall) they invited several world-famous artists to play together with them (György Solti, Yehudi Menuhin, Pinchas Zukerman, Gidon Kremer, Radu Lupu, Sándor Végh, András Schiff, Richard Goode).
Yet the most important audience are Hungarian music-lovers: the orchestra organises some special concerts for them. One of these concerts is the series Midnight Music, especially for young people. Everything is a bit different at these midnight events: there’s no need for elegant dresses, or for chairs–visitors listen to the music sitting in bean bags.
Special concerts, special spots: a special experience we are happy to support. We think of those, too, who rather stay at home at this late hour: they can enjoy Midnight Music live on Telekom YouTube channel.
