Magyar Telekom in top 1% of sustainable companies
Created by the global index provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. The FTSE4Good indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.
Magyar Telekom Group’s ESG Rating is 4.9 on a scale of 5. Based on that Rating, the company is in the top 1% in the global telecommunication sector.
Magyar Telekom has been a member of the FTSE4Good Emerging Index, which evaluates the sustainability performance of companies in emerging countries, and currently covers 539 companies in total, since the launch of the index, in 2016.
