As from today T-Home the new brand of Magyar Telekom is offering its customers new Internet packages of high speed upload and download capacity, as well as HDTV services.

The broadband service provided by T-Home can reach up to 25 Mbit/s download and 5 Mbit/s upload speed, which offers a state-of-the-art solution for regular Internet users who use high speed Internet for generating a large volume of data traffic. Extra high speed Internet allows customers to watch their favorite films on the web, download songs they have not heard for ages or any other multimedia contents – even on more than one computer.
From now on the high resolution HDTV programs can be received by the subscribers of T-Home IPTV service thanks to new VDSL technology – subject to the availability of the technical facilities.
The network of Magyar Telekom was the first in Hungary which was able to receive HDTV programs. The Company launched its test project in Summer 2007 in the frame of which the VDSL technology – a revolutionary broadband access technology used as the basis for the service – was installed in Budapest’s 11th district. T-Kábel was the first to deliver an HDTV program in domestic commercial broadcasting.
