Matáv makes very attractive offers in Invitel, HTCC and Monortel service areas

Matáv elaborated new offers for the customers of LTOs so that they can select the best tariff package to suit their phoning patterns. From September 15, 2004 Matáv offers lower minute fees than Invitel, HTCC or Monortel in almost all call directions.
Since the liberalization of the telecommunications market, customers
can freely decide - through carrier selection - which
telecommunications carrier to use for making telephone calls. Two types
of carrier selection are available: the customer defines in advance the
carrier to carry his calls (carrier preselection) or the customer
selects the carrier for each call by entering the four-digit prefix of
the selected carrier (for Matáv 1515) (call-by-call carrier selection).
From September 15, 2004 Matáv extends its offerings to the service
areas of other carriers so Matáv's offers are available in addition to
local and long-distance zone 1 also in Invitel, HTCC and Monortel
service areas.
Matáv offers its Csevegõ Partner tariff package to residential
customers using the carrier preselection service. With the Csevegõ
Partner service, the longer the telephone call the higher the discount
offered; from the 5th minute 20%, from the 10th minute until the 60th
minute 30% discount is offered on the minute fees in all call
directions. With this package the already lower Matáv minute fees can
be further reduced. Csevegõ Partner can be used with no additional
monthly fee payment. Matáv offers business customers the Ritmus tariff
package family with lower peak period minute fees.
Matáv offer its 1515 Preselection service to residential customers
using call-by-call carrier selection and Ritmus 100 Elõhívó (Prefix),
with lower minute fees than that of other carriers, to business
customers. When the customer wants to use Matáv's services the 1515
prefix needs to be dialed before the telephone number so that Matáv's
tariffs are charged for the call duration.
