Budapest, November 6, 2012 09:00

Magyar Telekom offers a comprehensive online webshop building solution for SMEs under the name of WebshopBuilder. The cloud based service introduced at the end of October is available in a monthly fee scheme, similarly to telecommunication and IT services.

An entrepreneur using Telekom’s WebshopBuilder application – introduced in October – can open a webshop even within a few hours. WebshopBuilder is an online, cloud based webshop creating and operating software, offering a solution for SMEs to establish their full fledged internet shop. Using the software on can swiftly, cost efficiently and simply build a webshop, which is also search engine optimised – no worries therefore that the new online business fades into the ocean of internet shops. Launching the webshop is risk-free, no investment is required as the WebshopBuilder is available for a monthly fee – subscribers for the software may also request consulting services. Subscription may be worthwhile even for micro-enterprises of 1-2 persons, as at a minimal cost they can access a complex, professionally operating webshop, which earlier was only accessibly using complex tools and a paid team of experts.

WebshopBuilder – further to including the basic webshop functions, like colour webshop templates, versatile delivery methods, smart inventory, and several payment methods – also comes with marketing functions, promoting purchase acts. For example the intelligent product search function carries out searches in all major product data categories, and potential hits are already displayed when entering the search word. While browsing on the site, customers can see the most frequently purchased, latest or related products, as well as those on promotion. Verbal and quantified evaluation may also be provided about products, which is important as future customers trust the opinion of earlier customers the most. In WebshopBuilder trendy coupon action may also be launched, and products can be shared on community sites. WebshopBuilder operates within the computer’s browser, therefore no installation is needed, and can be used from any place or computer. Consequent to the cloud based access, users can enjoy high level mobility, and they can access it from any computer, smartphone or tablet. The regular structure and minimal menu items are transparent and easily manageable.

WebshopBuilder became a service offered by Magyar Telekom through the development work of Webshop-Experts Kft. The common goal of the two companies is to increase the scope of users, as well as to help SMEs to capitalise on possibilities inherent in e-commerce, offering them a new tool to lower costs and increase revenues.

„If one realises that the shop – open with substantial difficulties – is still not properly located, or if someone only wants to deal with commercial activities half time, launching the online business may be the ideal solution. A good webshop can make even a well functioning enterprise more dynamic, flexible and cost efficient. We try to help SMEs in these areas as business partners, as we are not only offering IT and telecom services for quite a while yet, but try to be part of the companies’ life offering services, that make their daily operation smoother and further increase their revenues” – said Krisztián Horovitz, head of Magyar Telekom’s business solutions division.

WebshopBuilder can now be tested for 14 days free of charge and if it works out, the Start package can be subscribed for monthly fee of HUF 3,990 net, without a loyalty period. More information about the service and the trial version to be tested free of charge: www.webshopepito.hu
