Chess Guinness record at Children’s Island
Chess Guinness record at
Children’s Island, June, 2015
Hajógyári island turns into Children’s Island in
June every year. This year we’ll be there again, providing one of the programs
of the event: Brigitta Sinka, better known as aunt Bici, Hungarian chess master
will play on the spot to reach a new Guinness record of simultaneous chess
games.
Before Sziget festival Hajógyári island hosts Children’s Island every year. Several programs await families: playgrounds, circus, theatre, puppet shows, pet zoo, adventure park, arts and crafts and sports.
Telekom will be present at Children’s Island with a special event: simultaneous chess. Sinka Brigitta, aunt Bici, plans to beat the Guinness record of simultaneous chess, held by the Cuban Capablanca with 13 545 games. To reach her aim, aunt Bici still needs several hundred games, some of which will be played at Children’s Island.
How can she do it? With the help of a tablet and a special Telekom app, designed for this purpose, through Telekom’s 4G network. Whoever wants, can play after registration on the game’s site. Games last a maximum of three hours each time, played on ten boards at the same time.
Would you like to try playing 4G simultaneous chess? Join aunt Bici to reach her aim: a new Guinness record!
