Shareholders Assembly approved Crnogorski Telekom dividend

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that its subsidiary, Crnogorski Telekom A.D. Podgorica, held its Shareholders Assembly yesterday and made a decision on a total dividend payment of EUR 21.5 million (around HUF 6.6 billion at the May 28, 2015 HUF/EUR exchange rate of 309.15) for the financial year 2014.

According to Montenegrin Accounting Standards, Crnogorski Telekom recorded a net income of EUR 21.5 million for 2014. In line with the decision of the Shareholders Assembly, the total amount of the net income will be distributed as dividends. Magyar Telekom, which has a 76.53% stake in the company, is entitled to a dividend payment of approximately EUR 16.5 million (HUF 5.1 billion).
