Magyar Telekom donates a virtual telephone PBX to mental aid services

Magyar Telekom issued a private tender, intending to support the work of NGOs providing telephone mental aid services. Winning bidders can use Telekom’s Virtualoso VoiceCenter service free of charge for 2 years. Evaluation of bidders will favour organisations that contribute to raising awareness about sustainability principles to the maximal extent, while also promoting the long term maintenance of social values.

Magyar Telekom through its competition issued  intends to support foundations and NGOs that offer telephone mental aid services and counseling. The competition is intended to contribute to NGOs – operating with limited budget, however rendering vital and inevitable services to the society as such – operation becoming even more efficient and widespread. Winning bidders can use Telekom’s Virtualoso VoiceCenter service free of charge for 24 months. The Virtualoso VoiceCenter system will be of great use to them as this is a virtual call management system that manages inbound call swiftly and efficiently, not loosing any incoming call. People calling for help will always be listened to, if the line is busy the call can be transferred or the system may offer callback. Customer service capacity can be dynamically upgraded, the number of extensions can be easily varied.

Non-profit organisations are expected to apply that were directly invited by the company, being currently in touch with Magyar Telekom through the currently ongoing hello tomorrow! initiative. Magyar Telekom signs an agreement on donation with the winners, outlining the terms and conditions of using the awarded subsidy.
